Forced into the dark side

Postby bogiedr » Mon May 11, 2020 5:12 pm

Well still waiting on kamado joe to replace my firebox, they have no clue when it will be available. Tired of waiting, so I am posting my current set up and the new addition to my small herd. I’ll have to gravitate towards the pellet section and learn all I can! Planning a brisket this weekend, will report on results.

Papa thank you. OUP I am hoping I have graduated and can turn some good Q on the pellet pooper! Will see, I will report as soon as I do it. Planning on this weekend, but chemo #7 tomorrow, let's see how I feel, may wait one week. :chef:

Looks great. I think a pellet smoker is nice and convenient. May the force be with you.

I did a demo cook featuring Sucklebusters rubs and sauce a while back using a BGE and GMG. My first experience with a pellet pooper - I enjoyed using the GMG was real happy with the performance.

As luck would have it, kamado joe got mad at Daniel Boone and out of nowhere a new firebox was delivered last night! Hmm, ribs on the joe tomorrow? :chef: :laughing7:
