Finally, brisket from a couple of weeks ago

Postby bogiedr » Thu Feb 20, 2020 6:38 pm

This turned out awesome. My best brisket yet!
Update! Two days after chemo, finally hit, worn out with flu like symptoms, fully expected. If that's the worse side effect, no problems :D
Again, I want to say I truly appreciate all of you and your prayers and well wishes, Thank you folks. Know I appreciate all of you.
God bless you all!! :salut:

Side effects gone Thursday night during a great nights rest! Great workout Friday, busy productive day and awesome Saturday running around getting wife ready for business trip Sunday. I can't go, follow up for blood and work and surgeon follow up, so! I will use the week to experiment!

Making sausage shrimp jambalaya with orzo, will experiment with cooking it on the K Joe! Trying Indian curry sauce with my BBQ twist!! I'll post as things evolve! Shoot, I may even try to hit some golf balls for the first time in 5 years!! I feel that good! :D  Just thrilled to be here and enjoying life with no limitations!!! :happ:

Will post as I cook. Let me know what you think.
Keep on cooking!!!!!

Again thank you all for thoughts, prayers and unlimited support! :chef:
