Throwdown surprise prize

Postby egghead » Fri Nov 13, 2020 7:39 pm

Check this out! A BBQ tub with a built in chopping block. Can prep and haul in one convenient device.

Thanks a bunch for this excellent surprise. I have a sneaky feeling Matt had something to do with this. Very nice and thanks again.

Hey that’s cool. Let us know what you think about it. I’ve had my eye on them so curious to hear a review

Will it hold a brisket?

It depends on the size of the brisket. I love mine and use it 3-5 times a week. When the sides are up, its water tight too. Great for quick thawing.

Thought about that after I asked. I typically cook in the 12 lb range but known even those can vary in length.

I’d say it will hold all but the biggest briskets. 12 pounders would be no problem.
I’ve brined pork butts and briskets in it and it worked great.Image

Nice hardware. Juice management was always hard but this would make it easy. Well done.

Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
