Pulled Pork For an Office Picnic
Before COVID shut us down, I would bring in about 20 pounds of pulled pork to our annual office picnic.
We're back in action again tomorrow, and I had a lot of requests for pulled pork.
I have two ten pound butts on the smoke now at 275 going overnight. They're rubbed with SB Hog Waller (love it!) with hickory for smoke.
I plan to check them tomorrow at zero four thirty. If they're done, I will foil, towel, and hot box them for a few hours until I pull them apart and hit the picnic while it's still warm. I'm really looking forward to it.
Pics to follow when I pull them off the cooker with some coffee.

Good Choice for large Group Gatherings - - - - you can't hardly go wrong with Pulled Pig - - - if I had to choose a favorite Sammie, it would be Pulled Oinker on Sourdough Jalapeno Bun. Looking forward to Picnic Pics

Re: Pulled Pork For an Office Picnic
sounds like a fun time, I hope you and everyone enjoy the meal.
I did some of that when I was working, my biggest was 39 briskets on three pits, sure did make me nervous.

Re: Pulled Pork For an Office Picnic
It was a success.
I was trying to work from home after I pulled the butts. The butts rested foiled, toweled, and coolered for about 2 hours before I pulled them all apart and went to the picnic with the meat still warm. I managed just one pic after I pulled it.
It turned out great and the crew devoured it.
This was my last office picnic as an employee. I'm retiring in December. They want me back next year, and I told them I would return as a retiree bearing pulled pork.

Re: Pulled Pork For an Office Picnic
looks very tasty!!
I did my major cook as a fire relief benefit at Texas Parks & wildlife.
finally retired from TX DPS last September, we do(did) a Christmas BBQ(normally a dozen of us cooking and serving) for all the brass, retirees, and current employees of the Fleet, which is the new cars, repair, radios (where I was) cameras, light bars & sirens, and emergency response. Normally have 300 or so in attendance. I missed last year as we were at the kids in Alabama, will see about this year
I wish you the best in the retirement arena!!

I bet they enjoyed the PP!
These next 6 months will go quick for you. I’m 2 months behind ya for full retirement.
