Irving cook February 26-27

Postby cokeguy101 » Thu Jan 28, 2010 8:56 am

Who is going to be doing this cook? I know Bluz has mentioned it and I am going to be there. Any others? If so we should try to get together at some one's camp and have a few drinks..time permitting.

When you planning on arriving I here this one gets packed up quick.

Oh heck I will love them. Guess I need to go hit my Michoacana and cook some Saturday. What do you season them with anything in particular? I am guessing I can do what ever I like on them and grill them?

You buy them from Michoacana already marinated just throw them on the grill....but a lot though because you will wish you had bought more.

Just waiting on a little warmer weather, for the driveway party. And for you Chuck I am not sure they will allow Benbrook residents in Irving anymore, but I think I can pull some strings if you promise to bring me a beer. jk I will have plenty.

Well, I was hoping that no one knew about that letter that the Mayor and Police Chief sent me telling me that I wasnt welcome to visit Irving again after that last time I was there...

Guess that you found out though...

Maybe I'll wear a mask and hopefully they wont recognize me...

Hey guys, I have put together a BBQ team from folks over on the Texas Fishing Forum. Look for BigFish BBQ to be there. Outside of the annual Camp Craig Allen cookoff, this will be my/our first real comp. I'm extremely excited, as I have been wanting to field a team for quite some time.

Look forward to meeting hanging out Friday night and meeting everyone.

Myself, Dirty Bass, PaulGrapevine, & Pacertom. I would also like Ox on there....YOU HEAR THAT OX??

All the guys will not be able to make all the comps, so there will be rotations in the crew.
