Howdy from england

Postby hopmonkey » Sun Jul 19, 2009 9:59 am

Long time lurker, and finally got around to registering.
I am from sunny England (middle of summer and its 8C and hammering down with rain! :D )
But in true english fashion I bbq rain or shine

Currently using the simple setup of a Weber Kettle. Thats it, nothing fancy.

Still a bit of a beginner, but so far i've managed to crankout about 6 differnt kinds of ribs (im swaying towards a memphis style), full chickens, masses of smoked sausage, a couple of pulled porks.

Planning on the big one in the next few weeks, the almost mythical 'ALL NIGHT BRISKET'. Oh bbq gods please be gentle!

How, for now.

Big howdy hopmonkey, what part of England are you from? My father was from the St.Albans area , and I still have some relatives from that area. Beautiful country.Looking forward to chatting with you. By the way Chelsea is playing a match against Club America this week in our new Cowboy Stadium. :3some:
