Built the pit from a 500 gal. propane tank and half of a 250 gal.

This is my ultimate tailgating rig:

Got the Deuce from the Govt. Liquidation auction for $3000. Runs like new, completely rebuilt. I'm thinkin about a big BBQ on the beach when it gets warmer.

Might be doing a BBQ competition in Kingsville next weekend.

A beautiful M35/39, looks like a nice restoration. And what a great payload! I run around south Texas a lot, let me know if you need pit helpers for that big BBQ.

SouthTex,

Looks like you would have to jump to reach the firebox! Nice looking rig all the way around. I'll bet she get plenty of attention.

Wow that is a great looking and awesome rig... you may need a fingerlift to stoke the firebox and get the meat off and on the truck.

If I drop the tailgate I can get to the firebox pretty easily.
