Someone stole my smoker this morning

Postby denisbaldwin » Tue Oct 21, 2008 11:41 am

This morning around 6AM, my neighbors called the police because they saw 3 guys get out of a truck and hook up my smoker trailer, and then disappear.

The police have no leads. The one guy who I thought might have taken it has a clean alibi.

So, if you're in Florida and you see this grill, call the police at 863-834-6900, reference Case # 2008-83971. Thanks for anyone who can help.

Sorry to hear this. Your smoker was a unique build, so hopefully someone will spot it and they will catch the rotten thief.

That's my hope too. It sticks out like a sore thumb, so hopefully someone sees it and returns it ASAP.

I hate to ask, but have checked with the scrap yards? The guys who grabbed my have no interest in it as a smoker.

Sure did. I called the two scrap yards here in lakeland and another 30 or so in Tampa and Orlando and they are on the lookout.

Man, that really bites the big one! I hope they find it soon. That took some gumption to stand there and hook it up. Sounds like they knew what they were doing or had been scoping it out recently.
