New round here, but not to BBQ...

Postby bbq_bear_21 » Fri Jun 06, 2008 10:16 am

Good morning folks,

My name is Thomas, but most folk call me Bear. I've been BBQin for roughly 5 years now, though not as often as I would like to. I cook just about anything that I can on a grill, and even some stuff I cant. I got my start way back in boy scouts, cooking our dinners over the camp fire. It was then that I decided that the smoke filled eyes was worth the flavor that was embedded in the food. I cook on 2 grills, and one smoke pit at the moment. The 2 grills are Webers, one small grill and one that is older than I am. The pit is not a very expensive one, but it does a great job. I have access to a nice large pit, that can handle 2+ briskets with everything else.

I am one to experiment, and am still working to perfect my bbq taste.

I like the site thus far, and look forward to spending much time here.

Bear
