Looks like a great site!!!
Just roasted 290+lbs of two pigs on one spit turner!!!
Cooked it for about 13 hours at about 300. It turned out great!!
Love to BBQ whole pigs at the base of America's 1st National Monument.
Will be back for smokin recipe's this fall!!!
Ya'all have a great time

Hey wytrailboss... Good job on whole hogs. Got any pics? I do whole hogs on the spit over an open "Belson" pit with an alder fire. Have no idea of what the temps are.
Wanna compare notes cause I been doing whole hogs for over 50 years and I am willing to learn how others do it. I do a 125 hog in 6 hours or if split open in about 4 hrs.
a hui hou,
