Chicken Wings for Superbowl
I'm new here, so be kind. I have a Traeger Li'l Texas Elite Pro (a mouthful) a new one with Traeger's new PID controller. (all that was for information only). I'm going to be do'n wings for the game using those leg racks where the chicken legs hang meat side down. (again info only) And finally my question. Has anyone else done this and if so what temp (think'n 200 to 225) and how long? I do have a Themoworks Smoke but not an instant read thermo.

Welcome to the forum! I normally do chicken a bit higher, 325-350. While it's not on a Traeger, chicken's chicken.

Agreed w/ Tx dragon. Get the temps up to try and crisp up the skin a little. I run 295 - 300. Smoked chicken wings are awesome.

Thanks guys. I'll go with 325 to 350 degrees, but without an "instant read" an IT is going to be hard to get. You think 1 to 2 hours?

If you're cooking 8-10 lbs of wings on the grill at 350, they'll be done in about 90 min tops. Potentially less..
