New guy in Amarillo

Postby TXBronco » Wed May 18, 2016 3:43 pm

How goes it. Just wanted to say hi. Looking forward to getting to know some folks and gaining knowledge from y'all. I built my UDS a few months ago and I can't stop rolling smoke now. Grew up grilling on a campfire then propane and now a UDS. Looking to build a nice rig soon. First comp is in a couple weeks. Just a couple guys with UDS's that have no idea what we're doing...except having fun.
Started on a campfire, moved to propane and now to my UDS. Getting into Comps and the outdoors.

Welcome aboard & good luck with the comp!

Post some pics of your UDS. I'm hoping to build one myself soon.

Welcome! I see at least a couple teams cooking on a UDS in every comp I go to. They produce some great Q! Good luck in your first comp. Having fun is what it's all about! :D

Welcome! I'm from Amarillo as well. You mind if I ask where you sourced your barrel? I was going to head out to Homer's bbq competition today but I've got family in the hospital and couldn't make it.
