Hello from the Hill Country, I've been bbq-uing with a Texas longhorn 18in. water pipe pit [made in Uvalde] for about 13 years. I also have a brinkman smoker that gets some use, mainly grilling. It was nice to find this forum! Oak is my main wood of choice, next would be pecan! both very good for bringing flavor to the party!

since it was so available.
