Qualifying for meridian...

Postby Konvicted » Fri May 20, 2011 6:33 pm

Does it have to be a LSBS comp or can you place top 3 in a IBCA comp and qualify for Meridian?

It has to be a LSBS competion. IBCA's Invitational is at Traders Village and you have to place 1st in a meat category or win a Grand Champion.

Is there a certain amount of teams you have to have at the comp to make it a qualifier?

Sorry have to disagree with Etown, I have qualified and cooked at Meridian by cooking IBCA, unless something has changed last couple yrs.

i'm too laze to go read the rules, but i thought if it was not LSBS with 10 cooks, it had to have 25 cooks?

and i thought it was 1st or 2nd in any meat?

I qualified last year from a non LSBS cook, was the only one i made all year, 30+ team's, was 2nd place chicken.
if your look'n... you aint cook'n
