Jefferson - State Championship

Postby Lil Earl » Wed May 11, 2011 10:23 am

Hello,
Want to invite everyone to Historic Jefferson, Texas Cookoff June 10 & 11. Great town for a cookoff and great place for the wives, lots of cool stores, antique shops and restaurants within walking distance from site. And of course "Auntie Skinners". The Head Judge is a little questionable (just kidding Jeff).
Thanks
Chris

Great to hear from everyone regarding the cookoff this year! It's good to see some familiar names on the board. We have already raised a ton of money for the event this year; a good sign that we are moving towards turning this into a major event to compete with others in Jefferson (Boo Benefit, Mardi Gras, Rod Run, etc). I look forward to seeing everyone again in June and hope that this year is even more enjoyable that last.

It's my little girl's first birthday. Wife would smoke me if I even thought about it.

One more question, can any kind of heat be used to cook pinto beans?
