San Atonio style

Postby TXNzdub » Tue Jul 20, 2010 5:58 pm

Hey there yall,

New to the site from san antonio. Love to bbq and always ready for some constructive critisicm and anything thatll get my bbq to the next level. Smoke on a simple chargriller w/ side fire box and been doing it now for a short time though grilling and bbqin has been a part of my life for quite some time. Biggest hit so far are my baby backs w my "zdub rub" and getting pretty decent on the brisket... I think! Look forward to learning more from all yall with much more experience. Glad to be here.

Thank you all for the warm welcome, very glad to be here and once i figure out this whole uploading pic thing ill start sending pics of my work so i can get yall to tell me your advice. The "zdub rub" is just what i nicknamed my rub i call it zdub rub for brisket and zdub for ribs...its honestly the same kinda spices yall put on your meat, im a big fan of trying to collaborate spices together instead of just buying some rub at the store not that theres anything wrong w that probably tastes a whole lot better than mine. though i get pretty good compliments on mine...the ribs start off like any other with brown sugar paprika salt pepper, but it does have a few spices in there that id like to keep secret who knows maybe one day could market it...once again very glad to be here yall take er easy
