Looking good. What seasoning are you using on the brisket and ribs? Do you mind sharing?

I agree, they look scrumptious.

I'll be able to answer those questions later.....this is only the second time to try this. First time we used as baked potatoes w/steak. There wasn't an overwhelming smoke taste. Plan to use these in potato salad.
I'm just filling up the smoker, trying different stuff.

that's another experiment. Peach cobbler recipe I found on another site.

copy/paste:
Got a great cobbler reciepe this weekend to make on the smoker.
2 bags of frozen peaches
12oz can of 7up
yellow cake mix
cinnamon/sugar
honey

Mix can of 7up and yellow cake mix together in a bowl. Place the two bags of frozen peaches in a big foil pan and pour batter on top. Smooth batter over peaches sprinkle cinamon on top of batter evenly and then pour honey on top of that to finish it off. Place on smoker for a couple of hours or until you think it is done. You can cut into it and check batter. Pull off smoker serve with vanilla ice cream. Best darn cobbler I have ever had

end copy/paste

I did it exactly like that except I used fresh peaches from HEB and sprite . We'll see

ok, here's the cobbler. Not bad, a little undercooked maybe. Back on the smoker now. Definite smoke flavor, needs to be "crustier"

w/a little tweaking, this is a good dessert
