Chili und Weissbier!

Postby Huppe » Fri Feb 26, 2010 5:38 am

I made some hot chili. Served with "Keri's Cornbread", rice, nachos and German Wheat Beer:

As an extra there is some pineapple (that's from Sterno's recommendation) and it works great!
For some of you there might be some other "extras" too ;)

Ingredients:
Minced beef
kidney beans
crushed tomatoes in tomato juice
onion
ground pepper
ground cumin
ground black pepper
salt
corn
tomato puree
thai chilis
cayenne pepper
pineapple bites
garlic
sriracha sauce <--- link

Pineapple in Chili...hmmm, that may be pretty good!

In fact, I have a leftover container of chili in the freezer and a snack pack of pineapple

"Snackpack"? that sounds like dried and sugared pineapple? I used one in a tin can on it's own juice..

Looks good to me Huppe, thanks for the recipe too. A meal like that is like a sweater for your insides.
Never met a cow I didn't like with a little salt and pepper.
