Ratmo's Cookers!
Here is a few pics of some of my work.
I dont build enough of these to qualify as a business. So, fer now its just a hobby. Im working on gittin some better tools to work with, so maybe one day, I can build more than I do.
For the most part, all the smokers are 1/4" steel, that seems to hold the heat pretty good, for most cooking projects. Dont laugh at the welding job, only been weldin for bout 2.5 yrs now.
Ive got a few more that I have made. seems that my photo host is takin a break now though.

Looks good. I thought I was the only one smart enough to use that tractor chain for hinges and mount em on plow disks:) Built several like that. Sometime when you get to fiddling around try mounting the cookchamber on top of the firebox instead of butting them together. Looks like you may have nearly done it on the rusty looking one. Got a chum who has one built like that. Sure seems to work well. No need for a baffle using that configuration.

Say Coyote, the feller I buit that for, used it for his veggies, like a gas wok if you will.
Thanks guys, its something to pass the time of day for sure.
Ive got a image of a stumps comin ta mind here fore long. just need to look at one in more detail than what ive found so far on the web.
Oh, almost forgot. The rusty lookin oneis the one an same as the painted one with FR on the door. Me bein tha nice guy that I am, decided to season that for the feller, that has yet to pick it up. Put a briskit on a 16hr cook. Used 10# charcoal an a stick of wood for start up, then added two more sticks, after that. Never got off 250, and burned that way for 18hrs. That had to be one of the best briskits ive ever cooked, had some for breakfast, lol.
