The Austin VFW 8787 is hosting (at least) 2 c/o's this year.

1. Jan 15 & 16, is the new location for Lone Star Barbecue Society's cooker of the year cookoff.

2. Feb 12 & 13 is Chilly Chili, the annual IBCA sanctioned event that had over 100 teams last year.

From what I am hearing 40 to 50 teams are being expected at this event. The closer it gets to Friday the more I hate missing this comp. Good luck to everyone attending and drink a few cold ones for me. If we don't get some warm weather I aint gona get my rig re-furbished and painted til summer.

Best of luck to you Joe and drink several for me; the Comanche ISD would probably frown on we walking around the stock show barn drinking beer Saturday.
