How was the grub rub?? Saw it at HEB the other day and was wondering. Looks like you won't be getting any new dickeys cups now that you have the new smoker

Re: LazyzBBQ's UDS build! (Lotsa pics)
haha the lighter fluid was for the initial burn cuz all the charcoal i had was regular kingsford but we used kingsford with mesquite for the cook and ended up not needing the lighter fluid at all, and no we did not marinate the food in it either..lol yep had alot fun with redneck building them, oh yeah he really lived up to his name once he ate the first pepper, his whole head was beat red, of course after the fact it was all funny but during the heat of those scalding peppers...not so much
p.s. according to clint if you get a pepper that is that hot, milk does not help

We normally take all the seeds out, but every now and then we play a little russian roulette and leave a few in a couple and mix em up so no one knows which ones have them.

For one of our poker parties a good while back, we chopped up habaneros and added them to the cheese and loaded some of the ABTs with that... Talk about a surprise!

habinaros? whew i dont know if surprise is the right word, i talked to bluz yesterday and the reason they were so hot is appearently after i cut the core out i did not trim the veins and thats what was hot, but hey adapt and overcome right? i promise you one thing though, i wont forget next time, my wife was in tears they were so hot...im still in the dog house over that deal. The venison however turned out really nice
