8th Annual Relay For Life Cookoff

is in Sour Lake, Texas this weekend. All money raised is for American Cancer Society. Great cause and a great place for a cookoff. Plenty of room, plenty of power but limited water. Contact Ronald Latil @ 409-287-3171. You can also download all the info from www.tgcbca.org events page.

22 teams.
8th place beans
5th place chicken
6th place brisket

We had 22 Teams plus alot of water & wind. Grand Champion was Dennis May-Smokin in The Dark with a 2nd Chicken, 7th Rib, & 3rd Brisket. Res. Champ was Mike Oliver- VooDoo Cookers with 3rd,Chicken, 1st,Brisket.Other forum members that hit were. Mike D'Orazio-Smokin Mop Buckets 5th,Chicken, 6th Brisket. John Zeigler-Pops Blazen Smokers,10th,Chicken ,8th Brisket. Craig Sherry-Crapshoot BBQ-5th Brisket. The rest of the results will be posted on www.tgcbca.org

Congrats on placing in the top five for chicken and the top 10 for the rest of the categories :D Every one wants that #1 spot across the board, maybe next time you'll sweep it!
