It's That Kind Of Day

Wind is blowing 25 mph out of the North, 40 degrees, and cloudy here. I decided it was time for a chili supper. Put this on at 11:00 AM and will let it cook until 5:30 PM. Then eat a bowl (or two) with saltines, olives, pickles, etc.

That crock pot was given to us as a gift about 25-30 years ago. I have been expecting it to play out for 20 years, but it just keeps plugging along. We use it pretty regularly too.

IMO a crock pot is the best way to go with chili. You know how chili always tastes better the second day after it is made? Well with a crock pot it tastes like that the first day.
