Homemade sausage first timer
They turned out ok, was wanting a more coarse filling. My casing handling lack of skill is clear. Man those hog guts are difficult. Overall the taste is good. So I guess it turned out so-so. Cindy said it was too hot, looks like I'll be trying some different spices next time.

Handling those guts gets easier each time ya make sausage! What was giving you troubles?
It all comes down to me not knowing what the #$%@ I was doing. Had a couple of blow-outs, big air pocket blow-ups. Just stuff that a rookie goes through.
HELP!!!!

Send 5 pounds of your sausage links to me and after a comprehensive inspection and analysis of them before and after cooking, I will send my findings to you.
Always a pleasure to help out a fellow Q'er.
I'll take ya up on that Jim. But not on this run, it needs alot of work. It had good flavor, but still alittle bland. Next time I think I'll use fresh ingridents. Garlic, peppers! IDK.

I see nothing wrong with those. If you're like me, you're your own worst critic. Those looked like some links worthy of eating.
