My favorite Chili Recipe
3-1/2 Lbs. Hamburger Meat
1 Medium Onion, Chopped
2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
3 - 10 oz. Cans Tomatoes, Juice & All
6 Tablespoons Gebhart's Chili Powder
2 Tablespoons Ground Cumin
1-1/2 Pints Water
4 Teaspoons Salt
Hot Pepper if desired

Brown Meat in skillet. Put browned meat and all other ingredients in slow cooker. Mash with
potato masher to crush tomatoes. Cook on low about 4 hours.

The only thing you left out was some crackers and cold beverage to wash it down. Sounds good!

followed your recipe the other day (not to the T, but close) and was very good. not only did i surprise myself, but my wife and mom too!

Its been lightly snowing here since Thursday so I decided to try this recipe out yesterday to good results. I used a 15oz Tomato Puree instead of or the canned tomatoes and only used 2# of burger. It was mild enough for the Mrs to partake, and she liked it :shock: Course I had to add to heat to my bowl. Your recipe has been added to my prestigious 3 ring binder :D Thanks.
