In these photos I will be the one holding the birthday cake.

I place 6th in ribs. A friend of mine got Reserve Grand Champion. I lot of heavy hitters showed up out here.

This was an IBCA event and the results can be seen HERE

One last thing, I have no idea how that New Caney Rooster got into my pit. My pit has the green flames. Thats one of them anyhow. The other is a Gator that I will be cooking on in the last weekend of March at a TGCBCA cookoff

Thanks 397. I noticed that a lot of your pictures have one of 2 subjects; one is pitts the other is butts!

Hey thanks for sharing, keep the photos coming! We LOVE pictures.

I always try to get every pit in the picture. I belong to other BBQ forums and @ my home forum they expect me to get the butt pictures. In fact if I dont get the butt pictures some of them send me nasty PM's

Looks like it was lots of fun :D I noticed that the only garnish in the turn-in boxes was aluminum foil. Guess the IBCA doesn't go for that stuff.

No garnish. The IBCA, TGC-BCA, or LSBS do not go for garnish or sauce that has not been cooked on. Its all about how the meat looks and taste. Not about how pretty your lettuce is. I am not knocking other sanctioning bodies, I just dont understand the lettuce thing. I am sure there is a reasonable explanation, I just have not heard it yet.
