Just a little FWIW:
If any of you folks want to stock up on your wood there is plenty to be had for free around my neighborhood. I live in Angleton, about 45 minutes south of Houston.
Ike gave us a lot of wind damage, downed trees, etc. Most of the branches have been picked up but various sizes of logs remain, for the moment anyway. I've seen lots of oak, mostly Live Oak, and pecan.

My oldest friend lives in Chenango, just NW of Angleton, south of Rosharon. I know hey had a lot of trees down, but they've been in Bolivar since the storm sorting all their stuff out down there. I feel for all y'all and hoe that the dust settles soon.
