How ya'll are?
Built this lil dude here while back, just messin around with some ideas.
Feller wanted a compact smoker as he didnt have room for a offset. Reports that have came back on the performance of mini s is great! Way he talks its cookin everyday.

cool little pit... Is there any deflector in the cook chamber to distribute the heat as it enters from the firebox?

Yes there is. The pipes connecting the two are 3" dia. In the main cooker I cut a four inch pipe in half long ways to deflect the heat across the cooker. No direct heat involved.
