Brats on the grill

Picked up some fresh brats at the butcher shop. They make their own. :D The links are still twisted together, so you tell them how many links and they cut off that many. :D They start off a light greyish/white color and don't turn real dark when cooked. But they taste great. :D

I love fresh brats! All ya kneed there is some griddled onions and peppers and you'd have a feast!

I know. :( I thought we had a couple sweet onions, but I should have checked. :oops: So, no grilled onions for the brats. :(

I can't remember the last time I had brats off the grill. Those look great!

Sure looked a lot better than those packaged brats - would be better with the onions and peppers, though, IMHO!

Did my first brats aroung the 4th and loved them. I don't do alot of hotdogs but will do brats in the future.
