OK, tell us when would be a good time? Prizes important or not? Panel of Judges (past MVPs) or open voting? Any other input? Not that we'll listen but who knows, we might So let's start kicking this around, see where we end up.
I think the BW should be forced to enter either something he cooked or the Warden cooked for him.

Anytime that is good for ya'll... If I'm in town, I'll play. Prizes ain't important, but nice.
If bigwheel cooks, let's make him fire up Fred the pit cause you know he's been cooking only on gas and electric for some time.

Re: Next ThrowDown
Can't promise I'll enter, but I'll try.
Time, at least a month away. Maybe a "Back To School Party TD"?
Prizes, no big for me. Wouldn't send 'em back, and it was cool to get the Texas Heat last time, but that's not why I enter.
Judging, I like open judging. Members at large choosing the winner get's a few more people involved, and might inspire someone else to enter.
Other input? Not right now, but I'll think about it.

I have said it every time, I still think half the moderators on a rolling basis should be allowed to enter (must be something behind the screen door)
Open voting
If Labor day weekend is on the 1st, it's ok, otherwise Sept is out for me...any other time is ok too.
Prizes not important, it's fun

The one thing I would ask, is being allowed a short description of what you are entering, especially in the 'anything goes' category.
I like that idea. I find myself scratching my head on some entries trying to figure out what it is.
