Early Father's Day gift

Postby Txdragon » Thu May 16, 2019 8:25 am

So the wife surprised me yesterday with an early Father's Day gift.. Husqvarna 46" hydro trans riding mower. I guess she was telling me I need to cut the grass more often. Lol! I had to unload this thing from the truck myself.. I knew there was a catch!! Got it unloaded, uncrated, and set up.. I have never been so excited about cutting grass before last night. Lol!

Only HUSKY that I've ever owned was a Chain Saw and it was Superb and refused to die so I gave it to my Grandson. :salut:  Now, if I need anything cut, he comes over and does it. :laughing7:  :D Congrats on the Gift, Chef Sir :salut:

That's really cool. Every man's dream. You're a lucky man.

I believe Father's Day is bigger across the Atlantic. Here we are lucky if we get a box of chocolate.

Thanks all! Quite possibly one of the coolest Father's Day gifts I've gotten SINCE becoming eligible to celebrate the day. Lol! Of course kids are the gift that keep on giving.. And giving.. And giving.. And giving... :laughing7:

Can relate to the unload, yours truly has to do it w the JD yard tractor. Looks small, but man! Who knew they tip the scale at like 300!

Happy for you Dragon and wish you a wonderful.

And Viking Joe: tell the family leave the chocolate, take da cannoli, capische?

A good riding machine makes your lawn mowing a simpler chore. Like they say the right tool for the job makes all the difference in the world. (especially if you have a couple acres to mow.)

Thanks all!

Twoguys: I did, sir! She's also spoiled throughout the year as well. I never really ask for anything and she has to almost force me to buy clothes, so she makes sure I have the tools I need to keep things going smooth! Love that woman!

Woodenvisions: I have found the attachments for this thing and wow.. It's like a tractor. Has various equipment for gardening and such.. And a snow plow?!

Boots: It wasn't as bad as I expected to unload. I saw the shipping weight listed on the crate and got nervous but got my son to give me a hand and we got her off the truck with ease!

Joe: Yes sir, I'm very lucky! She puts up with me similar to a trainer with a lion. Lol! To tell you a bit of our relationship; I'm a combat veteran. I've been shot at, I've been stabbed, I grew up basically homeless for a great deal of my childhood. I've seen things by the time I was 20 that most people have never imagined, and NOTHING scares me worse than, "Oohh, I'm gonna tell your wife!!"
