Dutch Baby
My kids always request this for breakfast on the weekends. Sprinkled with powdered sugar and lemon juice. Super easy to make too.
1cup flour
1cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
Mix well and pour into a preheated skillet or 6x9 pan that has melted butter in it so batter won’t stick. Bake at 425 for about 20 min

Re: Dutch Baby
It is so different and really nothing compares to it. It is light like an eggs and cheese omelette but had the brown crispy sides. I’ve had it with apples, strawberries and a lemon cured and powdered sugar. The other one I mentioned is similar but more a crepe like and folds like a burrito with the fruit inside.

Re: Dutch Baby
Looks good. The wife and I stayed at a B&B in Gruene a month or so ago and they served Dutch babies for breakfast one morning. Had no idea how they were made. Thanks for sharing.

Its not far off from a pancake, just not as fluffy since pancakes have baking powder or some sort of leavening agent. The lemon and powder sugar give it that fresh sweet lemon taste. The skillet is a 12 inch.

Re: Dutch Baby
The apples and strawberries...are they baked inside or added on top afterwards? Never had this dish. And is the lemon squeezed and sprinkled on top?
