I see from pics you guys cook it with husk on. I've also done it that way but now if I'm cooking for a few I cut a corn into 3 pieces, rub some butter over it and sprinkle salt over it. Then I double wrap in Ali foil. Everyone loves it. We are lucky my wife grows her own corn. I've just planted 16 new seeds for this spring. Thoughts.?

Butter and salt are 2 of my favorite things :)
Wanna try something really good ?
Something so good u'll eat 6 ears...
Nuke 2 ears in the microwave in the entire husk.
I'd shoot for 5 minutes total. Then cut the one pointy end. Grab the husk end and squeeze the Cobb out. It's gonna be extremely hot but should not have any Silk on the corn cobb at all.
Hit it with salted butter, then grated parmesan cheese and then with some Old Bay or Slap Yo Mama. I've even used Sucklebusters SPG and it was absolutely Delicious !!!
Do that and I promise you will love it.

there are lots of variations of what some call "Street Corn" and IMHO - they are all good

Re: BBQ corn
Wv, I promise you I will try your way this summer. I've seen this somewhere so I know it will work. My family all love corn. I planted some for our garden just yesterday.
