Try It You'll Like It !
Wiffy wanted some Kitten Head Biscuits this morning so I answered duties call.
Feeling a little Festive, I decided to mix some Mayhaw Jelly, Homemade Pepper Jelly and Cream Chez Spread together for the toppings on my two for breakfast.
When I laid the mix out on a saucer, I swear I could here sleigh bells and reindeer pitter patters on the roof above the kitchen.

Looks like Christmas biskitz for sure. I bet it tasted great.
We have never tried (or even seen!) mayhaw jelly. What's the closest thing to it in taste?

Sounds a bit odd to me, but I'd try a few. Look OK as well.

Closest we get is a scone. Wife like 1 every now and then for her supper. Zapped for 15 secs spread with butter then strawberry jam aka jelly. Topped with whipped cream.

Russ, what we're calling Jelly over here is fruit that has been strained through a sieve or cheesecloth to remove all pulp/etc. " Jam, or Preserves" actually have pieces of the fruit and although Pectin is still added, has a different consistency to it.

Sorry, I thought I answered this Sailor, the closest thing the Wife and I can think of would be Plum Jelly mixed with Apple Jelly Hmmm, now there's a thought

?but? if gravy was only for biscuits then there would be no S.O.S.
