Steaks galore.

Postby bondobill » Wed Mar 07, 2018 4:35 pm

Yesterday for our weekly Rotary meeting we told our usual caterer to bugger off for the week and a few of us prepared the lunch for our meeting.
Menu was NY steaks, baked tators, green salad and garlic bread.
We bought 3 NY roasts but one of the guys figured we only needed 2 so he sliced them steaks too darn thin, at least in my book anyways. :deadhorse:
Kinda hard to get a good sear on a steak that is less then 3/4" thick.
Oh well....they probably where cooked closer to medium then medium rare but they still went over good.

Us old guys must work too cheap. Total cost per head was about 1/2 of what our weekly caterer charges us for noodles.

Looks like the New Posse :chef: done better than the Previous Vigilantes, Wild Bill - - - all that needs is some sound effects.

Bondo yer a businessman.... 50% less cost from the Greybacks crowd means 50% potential profit margin... I think you boys outta go into business fer yerselfs and give the caterers a run for the money.
