Surf and Turf

Postby JustinCouch » Sat Jan 20, 2018 4:22 pm

I bought 5 pounds of fresh shrimp last week and couldn't wait any longer. I'm going to boil these. I'm going to have a nice looking t bone and the wife went for tilapia. I De headed the shrimp and froze them so no pics of them or the fish yet.

Ur gonna boil them ??

May I suggest an alternative to boiling them ?
You will keep more flavor if you butterfly them with the tail on in some butter and garlic kind of like a scampi.

Not trying to step on ur toes, I've done shrimp, Actually alot of seafood for a long long time and believe boiling them will deny you alot of the flavor, especially if your pairing them with a great steak.
Just my 2¢ buddy :)
