Thanks all!
Outlaw: that's one of my peeves about them also. They are usually lacking the good stuff. I wanted to make them nice and hearty. Honestly, I only used a tablespoon of meat in each one and they turned out healthy. Good sized overall; about the size of a Twinkie.
WV: TP and FRH?
OUP: I'm thinking I'm gonna make some chili tomorrow to smother these with. Tamales covered with some chili, cheese, and jalapeño.
Dang.. Typing that sentence, I gained 5 lbs. Lol!!

Something with more bulk, and bite, like mine and OUP's salsa. Or sooner sauce.

It's the ( bite ) that will tear me up about 39 minutes after I eat it is what I worry about.

Man those look great. I have been craving tamales. Messed around and didn’t get any during Christmas.
