Yes Sir any port will do. Couple years ago we lost power for 2 days. Did all the cooking in the fire place.

The best chow I ever cooked was a bacon wrapped pork tender loin cooked over a hole in the ground with a 14 inch weber grate and lid. Honestly the best i have ever cooked. Mcgiver would be proud.

Gotta do what you gotta do! A charcoal chimney with a grill grate on top works too.

My old bbq grate on a couple 4x4s and the fire is charcoal on a flipped grill pan from Wal-Mart. Put the coal on the backside and paper underneath, like a makeshift charcoal chimney. Worked out nicely. Lol!

I can't believe someone didn't claim striking a piece of steel and a piece of flint together over some dry moss :dont: :laughing7:

As long as your Strip is cooked, the type or price of the delivery system is irrelevant. Kudos on finely executing the APO principle: Adapt Persevere Overcome
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
