Millenial Wisdom

Postby outlaw » Fri Nov 03, 2017 10:00 am

There is a local car club that meets right down from my house on the weekends. Last weekend I went down looking around and there was this youngster who I guess his Daddy just bought a new Hellcat?? I think? Anyway, he was rattling on about he would race anyone for anything anywhere. Claims he will be out by the Bell Helicopter plant, where I have been racing since longer than he has been alive, tonight.
I don't race much anymore, was planning on giving this to my grandson when he gets old enough if he shows any interest, but I think I will go see if he can back up those "Alligator mouth" claims, or if he turns out to be more on the "hummingbird a__" side. I'll let y'all know how it turns out.

If your grandson doesn’t show any interest you can adopt me as grandson :)

Bet that bad boy will scoot.

Yeah, its light and geared pretty high. Got a 5500 rpm stall speed torque converter that will scare him out of all his money as long as he wants to run 1/8 or 1/4 mi. Rans real consistent 10's in the quarter, no idea of 1/8. That's all motor, no juice. Unless you want to count the blower. lol

I forgot about your generous offer to come do that as well. Perhaps you do need to make a little road trip on up here, buddy, pal, friend of mine. :laughing7: :laughing7:

I do like my small blocks. I have had a few over the years. The 66 was a big block though

Sweet rides Outlaw !
AWESOME cars !

Always been a big Bowtie man myself.

Save ur gas, if he's young he probably already wrapped it around a pole.

Tell him if he wants to see a REAL turn key right off the showroom floor factory monster, he better forget Mopar and look at the new King again by GM..

I had seen a concept, didn't know they built it. All I can say is WOW.
Gas no big deal, I can drive this one from the house. Kinda iffy in traffic with 5.13's

Vega wagon great choice, good gas mileage.....
My brother had a Vega wagon race car like that until some sore loser firebug burned his shop to the ground.
