Ole blue has a full belly

Postby DogTag34 » Sun Oct 22, 2017 4:26 pm

I have become a big fan of freezing and reheating my BBQ utilizing a food saver. I don't reheat in the microwave but a pot of simmering water- just drop the bag in. Comes out fantastic. As a result I find myself cooking larger batches and reheat during the work week. Probably more economical as well. Today's fare is 4 racks of bonz, 2 full turkey breasts (a new favorite of mine), 1 whole chicken (will finish on grill to get skin correct, 10 brats. That should last awhile :) go BBQ something today

It’s nice to have a hobby that tastes good…

Did you find turkey breast already off the bone or did you debone them yourself?

We use a foodsaver too. We nuke ours while in the bag. Tastes like it just came off the smoker. How I ever got by without a foodsaver I don't know.

We do the simmer method…never though to try and microwave. Gotta give it a shot.

Usually about a minute and then check it. Doesn't take as long as you would think.
