Pre Fajita Prep

Postby woodenvisions » Sun Oct 08, 2017 7:58 pm

Bourbon was in the air tonight, so I was thinking maybe grill up some Peppers and Onions and Boneless Thigh pieces for Fajitas this week.
Used the same Bourbon Marinade that I used on the Bone In Thighs.

Tossed em on the Black Stone and poured a little Xtra Jim Beam in for good measure :)
They caramelize Perfectly, and I had to sneak a piece of course !

Fajitas on the horizon..

If not Saturdays, it's Sunday that we cook for the week. So basically, yes sir, these were all done today. Had the Akorn, Black Stone and Big Easy all fired up at the same time.

Oh, and please don't call me Shirley..

Thanks bsooner,
It's a combination of the Bourbon, Brown Sugar and Molasses..
Plus, I made sure to let just the Marinade cook a bit more on high, then I ran the chicken over it and mixed it in.
It's was almost like chewey candy :)

Oh man, I LOVE Molasses
