Even with the 8" wheel upgrade (at a mere $125 extra) I find my pit does not like to be rolled around too much. Some of it has to do with the exposed aggregate concrete on the patio but mainly the pit is well over 1/2 ton and needs two people to move it. So - it just sits on the patio but underneath a roof cover. I likely won't move it again if possible.

Thanks guys for yalls input! sorry for a late response, been a busy week. Yeah I think I will go ahead an lay enough tile down I can rotate it if need be. Hopefully it doesnt get rusty sitting outside from now on
