Ennie Mennie Mini Munchie Lunch

Postby OldUsedParts » Wed Sep 20, 2017 9:56 am

Since we had a long day out and about yesterday, the Wiffy won't be participating in Lunch today (Zzzzzz). So I just ennie mennie mynie meaux'd the Frig and came out with a small pkg of wings and one very very large jalapeno pepper. Par-boiled the pepper, halved, removed the veins and seeds and set them aside for a couple of Baby Huey ABTs.

Last time I did some ABTs I decided to not put any meat product in the filling the next time.
So I mixed some cream cheese with some roasted hatch salsa and some Suckle Busters Pepper Jelly then wrapped in a slice of bacon each.

After I put the filling the the pepper halves, I licked the spoon and I LIKED WHAT I TASTED

Dusted one side of the wings with Suckle Busters Hootchie Mama Rub.

Dusted the other side of the wings with Suckle Busters Baayum! Habanero Rub.

I'm not planning on saucing or glazing the wings - - - I'm wanting them more dry today.
Final pic when they come off the ECB.

I'm the same, people ask if I get sick of cooking, I just say the truth, it's very relaxing for me and I'm not cooking , I'm creating. My wife always says she can't believe what I throw together in 15 mins. And you get to talk to people from the other side of the world, and learn.

Looks good.

I always get a kick out of family gatherings. Especially if it’s my birthday…my family (not wife and kids) says “we don’t want to make you cook on your birthday “. My wife and I have both tried to tell them I enjoy it and find it relaxing. Besides if we left it to then we’d get pulled pork in a crock pot…
