And a favorite: well-seasoned nuketater home fries, an egg, and toast. Coffee and pineapple not seen. Sometimes we add bacon, sausage, or ham. But not today.

Exactly. Skin-on, small and even in size, on a plate with one of those plastic covers, and poked a few times with a needle or toothpick. Cool a bit, then squish, and the skins come right off. These were redskins.
