I NEED my sear marks!

Postby Sailor Kenshin » Sun Sep 10, 2017 3:06 pm

And I got 'em. :laughing7:

(Say, Russ... this is what Swiss Chard looks like in the pot. It's not like collards, really, as it cooks quicker:)

Image

In the bowl, sauteed with garlic, onion snd ginger, finished with a touch of soy sauce, salt, pepper and brown sugar.

Finally, on the plate with scorchmarked steak (splurged on a rib eye, biig difference in taste/tenderness), and R2D2 fries. ;)

So we did this steak back on the small Weber gas grill and it came out as expected. The R2D2 fries were just a little overcooked (we're still on the learning curve with it).
May the Sear be with you!

Ahh! The kind with white stalks.

Only a few of ours are white; the rest are red, gold, yellow. I think they all taste the same. :laughing7:

Yeah we get red as well, I love it steamed then a knob of butter before serving. I also add chopped up with my onion bhagees. Then fry them.
