I stopped by this old reprobates camp, but he was nowhere to be found. He was probably afraid I'd drink all of his beer.
The wife getting a laugh out of Big Moe.
Carole smoozing with Tuffy Stone.
Man the judging area was huge.
And a bucket list item checked off.

Re: American Royal Pics
Is Big Moe as friendly as he seems on TV? I would have loved to be there to sample some of the cookins.

Re: American Royal Pics
Okie really sorry we missed you. I was probably taking food to turn in while Yoda was probably in our privy. He spends a it of time there LOL.
Will load up some pictures under a new topic so you can see the fun we had. Spent a lot of time w Big Moe who was great, and Myron Mixon over to the Cabo Wabo event Friday night, where we were laughing about the 50 year old groupies in hot pants and boots chasing him around. And also met Tuffy in a way. On the last trip in with our truck and trailer down pit row to load out, this bearded dude popped out from behind a light standard and I nearly ran him down by accident. Didn't know I about killed the renowned Tuffy Stone right smack in the big middle of the AR, I now recognize him from yer picture as well as having heard one of his compadres holler, "Tuffy, git yer arse outta the way!!!". (Woulda been his fault by the way). Ol' Yoda and I woulda been dodging a necktie party had I not had the reflexes of a scalded cat on the brakes.
BTW, gotta put a shout out for our own GRailsbach and his bride who lobbed in support fer us, and who I understand missed the Royal in order to go help his friend Dave Klose's relief efforts in Houston. A gentleman and scholar in my book, welcome at our fire anytime!
Update to follow separately, need sleep.

BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
