Chicken strips and mashed taters!!

Postby Txdragon » Sat Sep 02, 2017 6:52 am

And now I've got my batter where I want it!! Wonderful color to it. Looks much better for presentation and the flavor is just right!
Made some strips from some chicken breasts and battered them up. Served with my secret recipe mashed taters and some good Ol' cream gravy.

Thanks all!
Sooner: Exactly! I've been putting a bit more focus on comfort foods. Trying to dial in good versions of all the favorites!

OUP: Yes sir, that's the note I'm trying to hit! I want my meals to bring back the memories gathered around the Sunday table as an ankle biter. I know not everyone had a good childhood (Lord knows I'm one) but even I can't say I remember a bad time at the dinner table.

when my Grandaughter was very small, I kept her a lot and I swear she could have eaten Chicken Strips (tenders) and Cream "Graybee" for breakfast, lunch and supper. :laughing7: :D
