Fish n chips!!
Wanted some fried fish for dinner last night so here I went! Made some fresh tartar sauce along with it. I skipped the mushy peas though. Lol!

Re: Fish n chips!!
I just told my wife this morning I wanted some fish, but after considering the mess, the smell etc we decided to just order out tonight. There is a little local mom and pop close by that does it for about what we could price wise and no fuss. That looks great, even home made TS. Yumm

Fish n chips are regular thing here, my fave is blue cod, it's the best ever, I do mine in beer batter, deep fried and with twice fried chips, I do it all myself. Yours looks great too.

Cod is my go to for fish n chips but they were out of fresh and only had frozen. I figured this post would most certainly nab your attention!

Thanks All! I'm still struggling with getting my batter right. Comes out lighter than I'd like. Think I finally nailed it though. Made some chicken strips using my new concoction and it was spot on.

Fwiw, my batter is a cup of flour, 1 free range egg and lager beer, mix to light batter, leave if you can for an hour and dredge in flour then batter.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. This was a mix of flour and corn starch. 1/4c corn starch to 1c flour. No cornmeal was used in the making of this Dinner!

Re: Fish n chips!!
I know this has nothing to do with fish and chips but when yall order whole catfish do yall eat the tails. I swear that is the best part of the catfish. I have never tried any other fish tails but now I will have to.
