Re: Sharing some color with Texas
We are finally getting some warmer weather.
Been one cold wet Spring. Last week it finally started to warm up. Got to 85 yesterday.
Looking like our plants noticed the warmer weather also.
Rhododendrons bloomed bout 3-4 weeks later then the last few years. Actually I think our weather pattern this year is more back to normal. Previous 4 or 5 Springs seemed to be getting earlier every year.
Anyways things be in full bloom as of yesterday..

Cessna 172, Boots Jr is looking at Embry Riddke as a possible college candidate. They have their own Air Force - around 40 aircraft.
Horny toads in Sedona area are a unique adaptation- red rocks red to match the locale, rather than the customary grey color.

Re: Sharing some color with Texas
Liked the Photos of Arizona boots.
Only been there once. Enjoyed the scenery. Something different then every thing green all the time
Yea Russ I like Spring also. Love hate relationship tho. Enjoy the beauty of it but hate the endless weekends of yard work and pressure washing off moss that accumulated during the winter
Thinking I got over the hump last weekend on Spring chores.
Thanks guys
Bill

(CUE KING GEORGE STRAIT - third verse - "Deep In The Heart Of Texas" "
The Sage in Bloom
Is Like Perfume
Deep In the Heart of Texas
So true this morning - - - Y'all should smell the Lone Star Perfume in my front yard.
I started some cuttings two years ago but only kept one and it's showing off for the first time this year.
Think I'd better start and KEEP some more come pruning time this year.

Pard, I don't like the "taste" of sage and never have - - - even when Mom and Granny used it in their Thanksgiving Gobblers but I sure do like the looks and smell in my front bed

Sage is my second fave herb behind coriander or cilantro as you guys call it, I just love the smell of fresh cilantro on my hands, love smelling it. I have heaps of dried herbs from wife's garden. We got herbs for Africa.
