I read in Miron Mixons Oldschool book about a glazed Steak the way his Dad made.
And I wanted to know how it work, how it tastes and if I like it.
I would say.....YES I like it!!!

Re: Steak with Glaze
Very, VERY nice! I'm not one for sauce on steak but this looks worth a try!

If the Steak tastes even close to the awesome presentation then I would sure try it, even tho I am like T-Dragon when it comes to Steak.

Re: Steak with Glaze
I´m not the sauce on a steak guy too.
But it was worth the try.
Was sticky and gave some extra flavor to the steak.

Re: Steak with Glaze
Never hurts to try new things just to make sure that "we're" doing it right
(Story - no hi-jack intended) a couple fellow employees and I went to a "new" steak house in town once - - ordered our beers, waitress brought our brews and asked us if we were ready to order. We told her yes and then everyone told her which cut and how they wanted THEN SHE ASKED the wrong question - - - "Do all of you Gentleman want the same house dipping sauce " - - - BOING we paid for our beer, left her a nice tip and grabbed some Tex-Mex on the way back to the office.

Talking sauces on steaks, I do fillet mignon and always offer 2 sauces, shroom or garlic sauce. I always offer choices. Just me I spose.

It´s not really a recipe
Made a light roux.
Added milk, cream cheese, Cheddar, Blue cheese, some Parmesan
Mixed Mac´s, some spinache and the cheese
Sprinkled some extrea Parmesan and Cayenne and baked till golden brown
Served hot and burned my mouth....not really a part of the recipe and not necessary to do
